Enigma

A website that sells banquets

The task

The restaurant has three different rooms for banquets and events — guests had to call and work out capacity, formats and pricing by hand. The menu, meanwhile, lived in print, while prices and the out-of-stock list change regularly.

Problems we solved

A banquet is chosen by capacity and format — and none of that was visible anywhere before making a call.

A banquets page: three rooms — for 60 guests, for 40 and a VIP room for six — with formats for weddings, corporate events, anniversaries and memorial dinners.

A menu in print and in PDFs — awkward to open on a phone and impossible to keep current.

The full menu — 68 items in 13 categories — right on the site, plus separate buffet and memorial menus.

Prices and the out-of-stock list change, and nobody is going to wait for a developer over a single number.

Prices, the out-of-stock list and opening hours are edited with buttons in a Telegram bot — the change shows up on the site within a minute.

Booking requests arrived all mixed together — calls, Viber, Telegram.

The site’s form sends the request to the restaurant’s Telegram group, and the recipient can be switched from the same bot.

A dated event listing goes stale faster than anyone can update it.

The site describes the evening formats themselves — music bingo, dance nights, themed brunches — while exact dates stay on Instagram.

What we did

  • Banquets and events: three rooms — for 60 guests, for 40 guests and a VIP room for 6
  • Online booking
  • A menu of 68 items in 13 categories with prices, plus buffet and memorial menus
  • Prices, out-of-stock list and opening hours edited from a Telegram bot
  • Evening formats listed without tying them to dates
  • An “About” page with photos of the room, the bar and the façade
  • Reviews and promo sections weren’t invented: with no content yet, they simply don’t render
